What is a storyboard?
A storyboard is where you draw out what each scene is going to look like by showing, what type of angle, where each actor is, what music is happening (If there is music), what is happening at that point. This will allow the cameraman to understand where to put the camera and what he/she has to do. When making it you have to make sure that it has something to do with the story and it isn't just randomly going through different angles.
This is an Example of what a storyboard is.
As you seen in this storyboard the person that drew this has made sure that the angles make sense with the story and with what is happening in that point.
When drawing a storyboard it doesn't matter if it is a stick man/woman or a really professional drawing, as long as the camera man and director know what is going on in that scene.
This is an example of my storyboard for the short film I have been creating.
